Privacy policy
What Morley Media collects when you visit, write to us, or book a call, who it is shared with, and how to opt out or ask for your data.
This policy covers morleymedia.dev, run by Morley Media Group Ltd, a software development company in Vancouver, British Columbia. It explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Questions and requests go to graham@morleymedia.dev. Graham Morley, our founder, is responsible for how we handle personal information.
What you give us
When you send a contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email, company, what you need, and any budget, timeline, or stage you choose. The form's message arrives in our inbox through Resend, our email provider.
When you book a call, you book through Cal.com, which receives your name, email, the time you pick, and anything you add to the booking. Cal.com handles that under its own privacy policy and shares the booking with us.
What your browser sends
- Google Analytics records which pages you view and how you arrived, so we can see what people read.
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies.
- Google reCAPTCHA loads when you start filling in a form, and scores the submission for signs of a bot.
- If you arrive with campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source) or an ad click ID, we keep them in your browser for 90 days and include them with a form submission or booking, so we know which post or ad brought you.
Meta and TikTok ads
We run ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. To see which ads lead to booked calls, our landing pages load the Meta pixel and the TikTok pixel. On the rest of the site they load only if you arrived from one of those ads in the last 90 days. The pixels set cookies and report page views to Meta and TikTok.
When you book a call or send a form after coming from one of those ads or landing pages, our server also tells Meta and TikTok that it happened. It sends a hashed copy of your email address (a one-way code, not the address itself), the ad click ID, the pixels' cookie values, your browser's user agent, and, for forms, your IP address. Meta and TikTok use this to match the booking or lead to the ad, and they handle it under their own policies.
You can opt out at any time with the notice that appears when the pixels load, or with the button on this page. Opting out removes the pixels from your visits and stops us sending your bookings and forms to Meta and TikTok.
Who else handles it
We use these providers to run the site and reply to you: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Resend (email), Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA), Cal.com (booking), Meta, and TikTok. Some of them store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local law. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Campaign tags and ad click IDs stay in your browser for 90 days. We keep messages and booking details for as long as we need them to reply to you, to work with you, and to keep our business records.
Your choices
- Opt out of Meta and TikTok ad tracking with the button on this page.
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to the address above.
- If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Changes
